In June 2016 I gave a talk about my PhD research at TEDx Hamburg. I was not long after graduating with a PhD from University for the Creative Arts/University of Brighton with my thesis project Patterning Culture: Developing a System for the Visual Presentation of Greetings. A 3.5 years full-time study into cross-cultural differences in nonverbal communication, particularly greeting rituals, under the guidance of my excellent supervisors Jean Wainwright (UCA), Judith Williamson (UCA) and Ricardo Leizaola (Goldsmiths).
